Murree

Murree is a hill station on the border between Punjab and Azad Kashmir in Pakistan.

An American journalist Camile wrote, that, "Everything and anything can happen in Murree. Romance is in the atmosphere; intrigue is in the air. The roads to this happy holiday's resort embrace both the heaven and earth. In Murree it is easy to fall in love".

Murree was once a charming colonial town nestled in the Himalayan foothils - but the last 10 years have seen rampant development and today Murree more closely resembles a litter-strewn overcrowded tourist resort. However it remains exceedingly popular with Pakistani families and still receives glowing recommendations from this demographic.

For the international visitor heading further north to the Galis may prove more rewarding. In summer it is cool - even chilly in the evening - while light rain is common. In winter Murree hides herself under thick blanket of snow, however view tourists visit at this time and most hotels and attractions will be closed.

Driving in or through Murree is at best a nightmare - the roads are too narrow, and the cars too many. There are alternatives. Public transport ( buses, taxis and vans ) are readily available but would be generally crowded.

Except for the Islamabad-Murree highway all other roads are single / two lane roads and the driver should be conversant withmountain driving skills.

The nearest air link is Islamabad International Airport and the nearest rail Link is at Rawalpindi Cantonment Station.

Dhoti, Kurta and Khussa

The sherwani appeared during the period of British India in 18 century. As a fusion of the shalwar kameez with the British frock coat. It was gradually adopted by most of the Indian aristocracy, mostly Muslim. The first new style of sherwani in which you see include dhoti. This is new Pakistani styleand Indian style any Pakistani, Indian and Bangladeshi can use it in any even, mostly Punjabi like it in Pakistan and India. Mostly people use sherwani and shelwar in Pakistan and India, but this is new traditional trend dhoti sherwani, you see sherwani matching color with dhoti, in this two color blue and red are looking good,

You see corn silk sherwani color and light sea green dhoti color with cadet blue romaal. And light sea green khussa. This style is in the village of Punjab, Punjabi use it on any event like mela, horse game event and marriage events. You see blue machine stitching on cloth top. Pakistani khussa is most suits for this.

This is one of most topper sherwani and dhoti for teen villagers. And most important is that Pakistani khussa is suit with sharwani. Mostly people like corn flower blue color in marriage event and village mela. The light coral color of dhoti is matching with stitching of sherwani. And sherwani color is match with dhoti lance.

Mostly gul ahmed verity is most famous in all world but this verity is one of this.

Mostly Amar bilal and Imbias collection introduce like this type of sherwani but this is traditional style of Pakistan. In this you can see designer work, sherwani and dhoti color matching and Pakistani khussa color with dhoti and sherwani and match.

Mostly people use with shewani, churidar pajama. And mostly, India use jeans with sherwan, and in Pakistan use choridar pajama and dhoti with sherwani. 

This is not only for teen. Kid’s sherwani is also famous in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. In Pakistani this is famous with wedding shewani, and India also.

Culture Of Pakistan

Well come to everyone. Today I tell you an interesting story about the culture especially like as Punjabi culture.

Some time ago, I was gone to the interior Punjab. I saw to many people, they was wore a simple dress like as simple shalwar and Kameez.

And some people wore the dhoti with qameez. I shocked to see. I thinking, in 21 century they wear a dhoti with Kameez.

In the later and some time passed i asked my grand father today, why people wear the dhoti with Kameez?

My grand father simply and confidently said, child this is Punjabi culture. I asked again, grand father you remembered, where from start?

They replied, before the independence of Pakistan, when we lived in India, we was worn the shalwar qameez, and some people like to worn the dhoti and Kameez.

So finally i understand. Many people in pakistan, they are used old culture.
